Drag up c once on key R for Shift, twicecc for Caps Lock.

Drag down g to release Caps Lock.

MessagEase has an Auto Cap option (see Set Up), so you rarely need to fiddle with Shift or Caps Lock.

Here's another, quicker way to enter a single uppercase letter without shifting: Draw a circle (instead of a tap) or Drag-and-Return (instead of a drag) to get a single uppercase letter.

Selection or Last-Word Capitatlization

You can also change the case an entire selection by a drag-up-and-return k or drag-down-and-return o on the R key. Tap on the screen and select a few words or sentences, as you wish. Then, drag-up and return on R to change your entire selection to Title Case.

If your keyboard is in Caps-Lock, then your drag-up-and-return k on key R would capitalize the entire selection. A drag-down-and-return o on that key will change the selection to lowercase.

If there is no selection, the oprations describe above affect the word behind the cursor. So whenever you type a word, and before you start the next one, you can drag-up-return k on R to capitalize that word.
